Let us introduce ourselves: we are Doowa Films, a Filmmaker from Bali, Indonesia.

We never really planned to become a wedding filmmaker. We just fell in love with storytelling. With people. With real moments. With the emotions that live in between. We’ve been behind the camera since 2016, and over the years what started as curiosity slowly turned into something much deeper. Holding a camera stopped feeling like work and started feeling like purpose.

The first time we filmed a wedding, something clicked.

It wasn’t just about beautiful decor or perfect lighting. It was the quiet hand squeezes. The nervous laughter before walking down the aisle. The way your parents look at you when they think no one is watching.

That’s when I realized, this is special.

We didn’t want to create films that feel slow, overly dramatic, or predictable. No generic music. No copy-paste structure. Your wedding isn’t a template! so your film shouldn’t be either.
